Foreshortening: How to Go DEEEEEEP!

Description

A little while ago I was asked to make a tutorial on foreshortening and so now I have. I know it's been awhile since my last tutorial and now I will tell you why....

I AM WRITING A BOOK!!!

I'm putting all the tutorials I've done so far, and the dozen or so new ones I am making, into a BOOK. I expect to have it all done and ready to sell on the cheap in less than 6 months b/c I am working on it EVERY SINGLE DAY.

Is it an anatomy book? A character design book? a perspective book? Yes Yes and Yes and more yes b/c I'm covering a lot of topics I'm not going to go over here b/c I need to save a little something for those who purchase, otherwise there would be no added value.

Don't worry! I'm still going to make plenty of free-bees :D.

P.S. I recently passed 50,000 views and over 1000 watchers. I know there are a lot of people on DA who have hundreds of thousands, or even millions, of viewers, and these numbers are small-fry to them, but this is important to me. I love you all and I'm happy I've been able to share my passion for classical/comic character art, but done in a streamlined way.

Let me know if this book interests you and I'll keep everyone informed.

P.P.S What other tutorial do you guys need?!

Great work.
In the future (i.e. in your book) when discussing "what lens" to use, i.e. when talking about focal length, i would suggest dropping the photography terminology and using the term familiar to artists, which is station point.  That is the term used in perspective, landscape painting, mechanical drawing and in Art, in general.  The other terms might be good as analogies . . . but only if the reader is both an artist and photographer (which I'm not, so the laughs on me. :O LOL  )
