HEADS UP: Drawing the Head from a low angle. by NemoNova HEADS UP: Drawing the Head from a low angle. by NemoNova
Another tutorial for everyone here today. Someone asked me to handle this subject and make it easier. It took me a long long time to make this b/c I had 20 other projects on the go, but I am happy that it is finished now.

Here is a link to the other tutorials: nemonova.deviantart.com/galler…

Tell me what you guys think. I believe people will find this helpful, but if it isn't.... well... TOUGH TITTIES b/c I'm giving it out for free anyway!

--> Much Love :D

Wow! Thanks for this tutorial! I thought you might want to know: I found this on Pinterest, and it has 23,900+ repins! I've been having trouble with a head tilted upward in a drawing, so I hope this will help out a bit. Thanks so much for making your tutorials!! :D

Hey! Thanks for the comment. I've seen my tutorials on tumblr before, but I didn't know they made their way to Pinterest as well.
That's pretty cool :D I can only hope that there is a link to one of my profile pages accompanying it.

I'm very happy every time someone tells me the tutorials are working out for them-- Let me know if they work out for you, and anything I could have made more clear.

Great work with the angles, and the box-idea is a jolly good one. Good pointers on the nose going than the eyes in perspective.

I SO needed this! Thank you so much for all the time you've put into making detailed models and explaining everything so clearly! This tutorial is really helpful and in a sense eye opening and I feel that you've written only what people actually need to know, just the point of the story without the blabber :) you're very good explaining. Well done and thanks again ^3^

You hit the nail right on the head with the "no blabber" comment. It's my #1 goal is to streamline the learning to nothing but the essential points. That's why I do Picture->Note, Picture->Note, Picture->Note. Because I don't think people memorize whole paragraphs very often, just points to keep in mind.

Exactly! I've read a lot of tutorials with tons of text and if you ask me to name one of them I really don't remember any ^^; but yours are different, they're refreshingly unique and straight to the point. I showed them to a friend of mine as well and she was also amazed :)

It's a good start for sure. The way to instantly improve all your drawings is to collect reference for everything and have them with you when you draw. Plenty of images up there of people turning their heads up.

Thank you :D. Anatomy is pretty hard. Luckily we don't need to know it at the level of a doctor.
When they mess up their anatomy the patient usually doesn't have much longer to go- we just throw away the page.
